CONDITIONS WE SUPPORT

Conditions We Support

We provide medical wigs (cranial prosthesis) for individuals experiencing hair loss due to a variety of medical conditions. Coverage depends on your diagnosis and insurance provider, and we are here to guide you through your options.

Chemotherapy-Related Hair Loss

Hair loss caused by cancer treatments is one of the most commonly covered conditions by insurance.

Alopecia (All Types)

Including Alopecia Areata, Totalis, and Universalis—autoimmune conditions that result in partial or complete hair loss.

Lupus (Autoimmune Hair Loss)

Lupus can cause significant hair thinning or loss due to inflammation and immune system activity affecting the scalp.

Other Medical Hair Loss Conditions

Including hormonal, autoimmune, and medically related causes of hair loss.

Scarring Alopecia

Permanent hair loss caused by inflammation that damages hair follicles.

Thyroid disorders

Hormonal imbalances that may cause diffuse hair thinning across the scalp.

Trichotillomania

A condition involving hair pulling that leads to patchy hair loss.
